A house in a calm spot with no neighbors, surrounded by woods and meadows, located 3 kms from the village of Montferrier at 900m eleveation. Open from April to October

Located at 900m elevation in the Tabe massif, the gîte Le Roc was built in 1908 and recently renovated. It's surrounded by meadows and woods, with access via a small road from the village of Montferrier 3 km away. There is a hamlet 300 m from the gîte, and the environment is very peaceful.

The house is situated on a hectar of land at the end of a private lane. A large 40m2 terrace looks out over meadows and the mountains.


La MonbelActivities and tourist sites in the vicinity:
 - Walking (on local waymaked trails and traditional Cathar routes)
- the château of Montségur: 3 hours by foot or 15 minutes by car (+ 20 minutes hike up the pog)
- Montbel Lake: 30 minutes by car (for swimming, pedal boats and restaurant)

The house comprises two habitable levels (about 130 m2). On the ground floor is a living room/library with a convertible couch, and a large eat-in kitchen giving out on the terrace. Each of these rooms has a fireplace with built-in wood stove.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, gas stove and oven, refrigerator-freezer. On this level is also a bathroom with bathtub and sink and toilet.

chambre3On the first floor are 3 bedrooms:
- Room 1: 180cm double bed (2 singles joined together)
- Room 2: 140cm double bed and a singe bed
- Room 3: 160cm double bed and a 120cm bed

In the basement is a clothes washer, fussball table and a ping-pong table.
The gîte sleeps a maximum of 10 people.

PRICE :
 560 € per week from April to October
 
- No winter or weekend rentals
- Extra charge (electrcity, firewood and taxes)  : 30 €
- Pets accepted
