Mountain guides

An "accompagnateur en montagne" has undergone extensive training in orientation, safety, first aid and has been certified by the French state to guide walkers in the mountains. He or she is passionate about the Pyrenees, and knowledgeable about their plant and wildlife, geology and legends. Walking with a guide will enrich your experience in the mountains, and give you the skills and confidence to explore the Pyrenees on your own.

Marmot Tours organise all-inclusive week-long holidays for groups made up of friends or individuals. They offer a full range of itineraries from gentle walking, snowshoeing, biking and cross-country skiing to hut-to-hut trekking. All tours are led by native English speakers.
