Rafting and kayaking in the Ariège Pyrenees

The department of Ariège has a wealth of torrents and rivers on which to practice canoeing, kayaking and rafting as well as hotdogging, white water swimming, kayak polo, etc.

Of the 2500 kms of water courses, 400 kms have been classified as practicable and accessible to white water sports.

Numerous events, competitions and selections for the national championships take place regularly in Ariège.
