The 15 hectar domain of "Vergers du Sésame" lies along the Arize river at 380 m altitude in the foothills of the Ariège Pyrenees. The nearest village is the Mas d'Azil 3 kms away; the prehistoric cave for which it is famous is 2 kms from our farm. We're at the end of a charming little road in a protected nature area, very quiet and restful, which we share with deer, herons, raptors, owls and other wildlife. We're also on the Way of St James of Compostela and have a separate dormitory for pilgrims in addition to the bed and breakfast and camping accommodations.
In the immediate vicinity there are many walking trails, including the GR78 (also St James way), and the Arize river is favoured by trout fishermen.
In the autumn and winter you can sample our organic apple juice, the product of our traditionally-cultivated orchard containing 15 different old varieties of apple trees. You can also visit the neighboring farm a 5 minutes walk from us to admire the animals.
Opposite our farm is the picturesque Raynaude church whose style of architecture is very rare.

- 1 spacious ground floor room of 40m2 separate from the main house with a double bed, 2 single beds, sofa bed, private bathroom with shower, washbasin and separate wc.
- 1 large first floor room with a double bed and 5 single beds, wc on same floor plus private bathroom on the ground floor with shower, washbasin and wc.
A sitting dining area are at your disposition in the large common room whose bay windows look out on a magnificent panoramic view.
