Tour de France 2012 in Ariège:
Stage 14, Sunday 15 July
Finish at Foix

Stage 14 of the Tour de France will start at Limoux and Lavelanet will be the first town the peleton crosses in Ariège. It will continue on to Tarascon and then climb to the Port de Lers. After it descends to Massat it will begin the ascent toward the col de Port but then veer off onto the very steep (14%) col known as the "Mur [wall] de Péguère" (see it on a map). "Las Trinquades", a B&B + a gîte, is the nearest accommodation (walking distance) to this particular stretch of the course for this stage.

When looking for accommodations for that period, be aware that many hotels and bed and breakfasts will refuse reservations for single night stays.
