IN THE FOOTSTEPS OF THE CATHARS
CAMI DELS BONSHOMES
From Montségur to Berga, in Spain, from the northern foothills of the Pyrenees to the sun-soaked Spanish slopes, from the Gorges de la Frau ravine to the Sierra de Cadi with its tormented limestone geology, this trek offers a large variety of magnificent scenery for the eye to feast upon. You will discover the ruins of the Cathar castles perched high upon inaccessible rocky outcrops. The area is also rich in churches, chapels and hermitages brimming with roman art and architecture.

ADVENTURES ON HORSEBACK ALONG THE FRONTIER
FRONTERA BRAVA
This horse riding adventure along the frontier will take us, west to east, from the Ariège Pyrenees to the Catalan Pyrenees. Since time immemorial men have trodden paths, both openly and secretly, along and across the border between France and Spain. This time it will be your turn to discover these wild frontier lands. From the nature reserve of the Mont Valier to the Vall d’Aran, stopping at the historic sanctuary of Montgarri, each day promises to be full of interest and surprises.

THE SOUTHERN PYRENEES
SIERRA DE CADI
From Bellver de Cerdanya, a small medieval town in the Spanish foothills, southwards to Berga, this route crosses the nature reserve of the Cadi-Moxeira and Berguda and offers many attractions. The area is well preserved and boasts a rich and varied flora and fauna, including a number of rare species. Discover roman chapels and hermitages that betray the spread of roman art throughout Catalonia. The landscape is impressive and features a tormented limestone geology and large forests where oak, pine and beech trees stand shoulder to shoulder.
