Prices
They include : accommodation and meals, horses and equipment, accompaniment and, for certain circuits, transfer from Goueytes Dijous to the point of departure as well as the return to Goueytes Dijous.
They don't include : individual accident insurance, personal liability insurance or repatriation insurance (indispensable for cross-border trips), accommodations or meals the night before the trip, breakfast the day of departure, accommodations or meals the night of the return, or personal expenses.

Insurance
• You should arrange for individual accident and personal liability insurance adapted for the practice of equestrian sports.
• For the cross-border trips, you should arrange for repatriation insurance.
• Temporary equestrian insurance for those not posessing any can be arranged by us. It includes individual accident and personal liability insurance for horseriders but does not include repatriation insurance (however we can also arrange for this insurance.)

Reservation, inscription
• To reserve a place on a trip, send us the completed and signed inscription form along with a deposit of 30% of the price of the trip.
• A receipt for this payment will be sent to you.
• The balance will be paid the day of departure.

Formula, accommodations and meals
• Each night is spent in different accommodations, with personal belongings transported by horse or by a vehicle (see detailed description of the trip).
• We ride 6 to 8 hours perday (see details in trip descriptions), each person is responsible for his or her horse and looks after it following the instruction of the guide.
• Accommodations during the trip are in gîte d’étape, gîte de séjour, gîte équestre, bed and breakfasts, hotels, refuges tent camping, with dinner, breakfast et and picnic lunch (depending on the program for that trip).
• Accommodations are available near Goueytes Dijous for the night before departure and after return.

Level of horsemanship and physical condition
• You must be a competent rider (not a beginner), having mastered the 3 gaits already had a little experience of outdoor riding on varied terrain. It is not necessary to be a highly skilled rider.
• The basic gait on the rides is the walk, with a bit of trotting and walking while leading the horse, and also some galloping when conditions permit.
• This circuits take place in the mountains; it is necessary to be in good physical condition.

Accompaniment
All the trips are lead by certified equestrian guides.

Itineraries
In the course of the trip, the itinerary may be modified by the guide if necessary because of the weather, state of the trails or other conditions.

Horses, saddlery
• The mounts are horses of Iberian and Barbery origin that are accustomed to trekking.
• A good quality trekking saddle and saddle bags are provided for each rider.

By car : Goueytes Dijous is located in Saurat, 10 km from Tarascon-sur-Ariège. From Toulouse, take the N 20 or A66 motorways.
By train : Tarascon-sur-Ariège or Foix trains stations (direct connection from Toulouse or by night train from Paris).
By air : Toulouse-Blagnac airport, then train to Tarascon-sur-Ariège or Foix.
Carcassonne airport, then train to Toulouse and change trains for Tarascon-sur-Ariège or Foix.
