PAYS DES TRACES has fun, educational (parcours) led by members of our team:
- the Cave Route with a visit to the Wolf's Cave and all its surprises;
- the Mountaineering Trail where you can learn techniques for walking and climbing in the mountains;
- the Archeology Trail to see the prehistoric and paleontological finds uncovered on the site, including an exceptional sepulcre;
- the Ornithology Trail to learn to appreciate birds.
PAYS DES TRACES offers, for those with the soul of a woodsman, the Trapper's Evening. Your family will participate in the preparation of your meal: a rabbit or fowl cooked over a fire, nettle soup and fire-baked bread.

At the gates of the historic town of Saint Lizier, discover ICHNOLOGY, the science of tracks and marks. We welcome you to a themed park on 6 acres on a former farm that we have restored to its original character. Adults and kids, come learn and have fun!
 Where and when do you find animal tracks? How to recognise them, and of course how to make plaster casts of them. You'll learn some tips that will allow you to go off and find animal footprints in the area all on your own.
  Discover the secret lives of birrds. You'll learn about their habits and habitats by listening and observing on 3 hectars of meadowland, woodland and rocky outcroppings alongside the Salat river, a perfect place for an initiation into ornithology.
  Vegetanimal is an original concept where art and nature cohabit marvellously. Scale models of Pyreneen wildlife exhibiting typical behaviours are constructed by growing boxwood into wire scuptures are placed in their natural habitat. It's a wonderful naturalist's teaching tool for all ages.
