This former grain mill is surrounded by water : little canals, the river and the basins where geese and ducks paddle. From every room in the house you hear the babble of water, source of Life.

At the Moulin de Lirbat, the cats, dogs, geese, turkeys, ducks and chickens wander freely in the vast garden surrounding the house. Only the filly, "La Blonde" and the flock of sheep have their own enclosures.

Christiane and Yann also devote a great deal of time and love to their large flower and vegetable garden (no pesticides used). If you're interested, they will be pleased to give you a tour of it; you'll can taste the results if you take an evening meal with them (by reservation). Christiane offers family cooking prepared essentially with produce from their garden and farm. Vegetarian meals are available upon request..

The two guest rooms on the first floor are very light and spacious. Each has a large double bed (160 cm) and two single bed, a bathroom with shower and private wc. A baby cot is available.

Meals are taken in the dining room on the ground floor around a round table in front of the fireplace.

Nearby activities include horseriding (a riding centre is 300 m away) and walking on the numerous waymarked trails that lace the canton of Massat. And naturally there is trout fishing in the limpid waters of the Arac that borders the property.
