This former grain mill is surrounded by water : little canals, the river and the basins where geese and ducks paddle. From every room in the house you hear the babble of water, source of Life.

At the Moulin de Lirbat, the domestic animals--dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and geese--roam freely in the vast garden surrounding the house. Only the horse "La Blonde" and the flock of sheep have their on enclosures.

The ground floor gîte comprises :
- an entryway where you can leave shoes, coats, skis etc. in large wooden wardrobe. A football table is available for youngsters. There is a rack for hanging saddles for horseriders who stop overnight at the mill.
- A large living/dining room, furnished with family heirlooms and regional furniture infused with rustic warmth, : cupboards, sideboards, wood ice chest, massive wooden table 6 chairs, 3 armchairs, a step-ladder as well as a foldout sofa to sleep 2 persons, a TV and video players (cassettes available), comic books, board games...
- A kitchen with gas hob, microwave oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and clothes washer, raclette and fondu sets, waffle iron, etc....
- Bathroom with bidet, sink, shower/tub
- Separate wc
- Bedroom 1, with a double bed 140x190, bedside table and storage closet and an electric organ.
- Bedroom 2, with a double bed 140/190, bedside table, wardrobe and storage closet

A folding baby cot and a wooden high chair are available.

Outdoor lounging area :
Garden furniture and a barbeque are at your disposal in a shady spot outside the gîte. There is also a little beach by the side of the river for paddling or swimming in the Arac. The river has good trout fishing. You can take walks along the river or in the garden as well as explore the farm. Farm produce is availabe for sale in season.
