In the heart of the Ariège Pyrenees at 850 m altitude in the High Couserans region, we offer a holiday accommodations in a recently restored stone-built barn on our farm. South facing, with a view of the mountains, the gîte is light-filled and can comfortably accommodate 5 people. The outdoor area available for your use is not marked out as the gîte is part of the farm. There is a picnic table and barbeque by the gîte. We offer a harmonious and good quality space for you to enjoy a pleasant stay with us.
A varied menagerie of animals live here : several donkeys, a plump mare, two pigs, a few hens, dogs, cats, little girls... as well as strawberries, raspberries, currants, walnuts. We will be your only neighbors.
On site you can sample the produce from our farm : homemade jams, jellies and syrups, apple juice, charcuteries, sourdough bread... We can prepare a farm meal for your arrival upon prior request (15 € per person, left ready for you in the gîte).

The gîte comprises : on the main floor, a living area of 35 m2 with a convertible sofa and a woodburning stove, a dining area and fully equipped kitchen.
On the lower level (identical surface area) is a bedroom with a double bed and another room with two bunk beds and a single bed, WC and bathroom with washbasin and shower.
You will also be able to discover the riches and peacefulness of the mountains of the upper Salat, whose beauty and diverse attractions will delight you: hiking, family walks, horseriding centers, kayaking, nearby thermal spa and ski resort.
