The gîte is on the edge of a small village in the Couserans, clinging to the slopes of a steep hill facing the high peaks of the Pyrenees. A traditional village house, furnished with care.

The entrance has a covered porch where a old, large kiwi tree winds its branches. On the ground floor is a living area with a fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, dishwasher, clothes washer), bathroom with wc, a large bedroom (double bed 2m long and a baby cot).

On the first floor, accessed via a spiral stair, is a large paneled bedroom with 2 single beds, a large wooden monastery table, and a covered balcony.

 

 

In the garden dominated by a large linden tree is a stone barbeque, garden furniture and a large wild flower garden.

Electric heat. Private parking for one car. The gîte is available year round.

In Castillon 2 km away you'll find small shops, doctor's office, pharmacy, tennis courts and an open air swimming pool. The market town of St Girons is 12 kms away.

In the vicinity you can enjoy numerous mountain activities: walking of course, but also mountain biking, horseriding, paragliding, etc... or visit the many tourist sites of the Couserans and Ariège.

High Season (July & August) : 500 € / week all-inclusive
Rest of the year : 450 € / week all-inclusive
