The gîte Les Noisetiers is located on the edge of the village of Seix (700 inhabitants) in the High Couserans at 500 m elevation. It is adjacent to the owners' house.

The spot is very quiet; you can reach the village centre on foot in 5 minutes via a small track. There you'll find all all shops and services: a bakery, butcher, grocery stores, sporting goods shops, post office, pharmacy, doctors offices, restaurants, cafés, crafts shops, news agent, etc.

The Salat river, beloved of trout fishermen, runs through the village.
Leisure ctivities in the village:
- tennis court and boules pitch, trout fishing,
Leisure activities in the vicinity :
- riding centre, kayaking, walking and hiking. There are numerous mid-elevation starting right from the villagewaymarked paths : mountain walking trails 15 minutes away by car. There is a rock-climbing site for all abilities 30 minutes away by car.
The thermal spa of Aulus-les-Bains is 20 kms away.
The downhill ski station Guzet is 30 minutes by car, with bus service available during the French school holidays.


The gîte has 40m2 of space on two levels and a private parking spot. It comprises:

Ground floor:
- a salon with a large bay window, 160 cm wide convertible couch, table and chairs.
- a kitchen area with a fridge, 2-burner hob, sink, microwave, cabinets, toaster and coffeemaker.
-A bathroom with sink, shower and WC.

The first floor has a bedroom with a 140cm double bed.

The gîte is heated electrically but also has a woodburning stove. Wood flooring upstairs and down.

Outside you have a covered terrace equipped with table, chairs, barbeque, two lounge chairs and a large garden with lawn.
