Gîtes des Noisetiers in Seix - Ariège Pyrénées
The gîtes Les Noisetiers are located on the edge of the village of Seix (700 inhabitants) in the High Couserans at 500 m elevation. They are adjacent to the owners' house.
The spot is very quiet; you can reach the village centre on foot in 5 minutes via a small track. There you'll find all all shops and services: a bakery, butcher, grocery stores, sporting goods shops, post office, pharmacy, doctors offices, restaurants, cafés, crafts shops, news agent, etc.
The Salat river, beloved of trout fishermen, runs through the village.

Leisure activities in the vicinity :
- riding centre, kayaking, walking and hiking. There are numerous mid-elevation starting right from the villagewaymarked paths : mountain walking trails 15 minutes away by car. There is a rock-climbing site for all abilities 30 minutes away by car.
The thermal spa of Aulus-les-Bains is 20 kms away.
The ski station Guzet is 30 minutes by car, with bus service available during the French school holidays.

The gîtes have a private parking space and are each 40 m2.
Gîte 1 (2 levels):
On the ground floor is:
- a living area with a large bay window, a convertible sofa 160 cm wide, table and chairs
- a kitchen area with a refrigerator, 2 burner gas hob, microwave, storage cabinets, toaster and coffeemaker
- Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet
On the first floor is the bedroom with 140cm double bed.
The gîte has electric heat and a woodburning stove. Both ground floor and upstairs have wood flooring.
Gite 2 (1 level)
This gîte is all on ground level. There is a small living room with couch, a kitchen area equipped similarly to the other gîte and 2 bedrooms, each with a 140 cm double bed.
Outside is a terrace equipped with table, chairs, barbeque, two lounge chairs and a large garden area.
The pool is open from July 1st to August 31st.
