At an altitude of 750m, at Las Piasseres, above the small village of Augirein and 25 km from St. Girons, you can discover our small mountain farm. Here you can come and taste our delicious cheese, made from the milk of our 10 'Brunes des Alpes' cows. You can even come and have a chat with the farmer at milking-time in the evening or at the local market in Castillon.

The honey is collected from our hives at the end of each summer, when the bees have finished gathering nectar from the thousands of wild flowers and from the blossoms of the chestnut, lime and acacia trees which surround the farm. You can imagine what a natural and tasty honey this results in!

Gîte Le Pourtérés
Sleeps 5-6 in 2 bedrooms

With its own entrance this gîte is comprised of a large sitting-room with an integrated kitchen, a balcony, bathroom, WC. Upstairs there is a spacious bedroom with one double bed (2x2m) and a balcony; one other bedroom with 3 singles (including 2 bunk beds) and WC.

In the middle of a meadow, two other gîtes await you:
'LE GRAVIARET' with the gîtes 'Saule' and 'Tilleul'; 200m from our farm these semi-detached houses have a wonderful view over the valley and can be used as your 'base camp' to discover what mountain life is all about. The gîtes share a terrace with garden furniture, barbecue, ping pong table
