Myriam and Jonathan Peat welcome you to the heart of the Couserans. Our house was built in 1807 in this little village lying at the intersection of 3 large valleys. After having lived 15 years on the Greek island of Crete, we fell in love with this lovely residence in 2002 and have since delicately restored it. We have imparted a freshness to it while preserving its particular cachet. .

We are family with three boys, ages 10, 7 and 2 years, and our ancestry is mixed since our families come from France, Spain, Scotland and Greece. We speak three languages : French, English and Greek.

Our activities complement each other: Myriam takes care of the house and the cooking and welcomes the guests. Jonathan looks after the garden and organises walks in the mountains with his friend and mountain guide Philippe Cazes.

We have restored a common room for seminars and meetings (writing, calligraphy, theatre, etc.) The 80 m2 space is equipped with a sink, refrigerator and coffee maker, electrical outlets and phone jack as well as a TV antenna connection. We are open to all proposals.

Le Clos Enchanté´ís open year round by reservation [generally closed from the end of April to mid-May and from November to January] and is located on a variant of the Way of Saint James.

For those who would like to explore our region more intimately, accompanied by a professional guide, we have organised some themed walking holidays during the summer as well as short stays for snowshoeing during the winter (see our site for snowshoeing information.).
