In an exceptional verdant setting at the foot of the most beautiful summits in the Couserans, the gîte offers the charm of a traditional mountain dwelling and the comfort of a 3-star Gîtes de France holiday rental with the special designation "gîte de caractère".

The gîte is 150 metres from the car park, access by foot.

Situated on the GR 10 transpyreneen hiking trail, this adorable barn can accommodate 4 persons. It comprises, on the ground floor : a sitting room with a large fireplace, couch, fully-equipped kitchen area (microwave oven, clothes washer, dishwasher, oven, freezer), a bathroom with shower and separate WC.

On the first floor are two small bedrooms tucked under the eaves (one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds).

We put at your disposal information on about 60 walking routes to lakes, summits, the GR 10, etc, 10 of which you can set off for on foot directly from the gîte. For example, the Etang (lake) d'Araing in the photo at left is a 4 hour walk.

In the surrounding area you can visit the village of Sentein with its very beautiful church, play tennis, fish or go horseriding. The village of Castillon 15 kms away has shops and services and a swimming pool.
