Accommodation:
The Scierie comprises three private self catering units, which can be booked together or separately; providing flexible accommodation for up to ten people.
All three properties have equipped kitchens, showers. All have DVD players with a TV but no actual TV channels (over 450 DVDs for free use by guests.)
 La Scierie gardens are for the use by all our clients, so not specific to a rental property.

Le Galerie sleeps four. 
There is a twin bedded room, and a galleried mezzanine floor with double bed and further living area.  A wood-burning stove provides both warmth and ambience during winter months.
The Moulin and the Studio
providing lovely romantic accommodation for couples, however both also have a day bed available to accommodate an extra person if required.
We recognise the importance of a good nights sleep when on holiday, and have provided very comfortable beds with luxury bed linen to ensure your comfort.
There are CD/radio mini systems (connection for Mp3 players etc) and DVD players, and we have an extensive library of films available to guests in case you wish to spend a quiet evening in.
Massage service
The Mill owner is a qualified sports massage therapist and operates a therapy room from the main house.
Guests can benefit from an essential oil massage to help them relax into the holiday spirit, or a more intense sports massage to relieve any aching muscles following a day of outdoor activity.
Car hire is recommended. Toulouse, and Carcassonne Airports are a 1 hour drive.

For the active the Ariege offers no end of outdoor activities with excellent walking and mountain biking on our doorstep, and climb sites only a short drive.

Ski resorts are plentiful in the Ariege, with a number of resorts, including Ax-les-Thermes, within 45 minutes drive.  Take advantage of the relative low tourist numbers and avoid long queues for ski lifts and restaurants
Cross-country skiing is also easily accessible; the closest base only a 15 min drive. The more well known stations in the Ariege include Le Plateau de Beille which in summer is regularly a popular Etape finish site for the TOUR de FRANCE cycle race.

A winter stay at La Scierie offers accommodation below the snow line from where you can enjoy day trips, and trekking in the often-mild sunny winter climate while taking a break from the colder higher slopes.
There are numerous day trip opportunities from La Scierie, with the southern French city of Toulouse a one-hour drive to the north and is well worth a visit. For duty free shopping Andora is approximately an hour's drive to the south. The walled city of Carcassonne is an hours drive, and Lourdes is less than two hours drive to the west.
