We welcome young and old to our chalet located in the heart of the Pyrenees, at 800 m altitude in the Orlu Nature Reserve.

This unspoilt area right next to Andorra will delight lovers of both nature and outdoor sports. Orlu is one of the most beautiful areas of the varied landscape you'll discover in the valleys around Ax-les-Thermes.

The Chalet de la Marmotagne is in the lower part of the village of Orlu, facing southeast, a 100m2 independent house built in 2002 surrounded by 500 m2 of land.

The chalet comprises:

On the ground floor:
- A living/dining room with kitchen area (TV, gas cooker, dishwasher, fridge, microwave) looking out onto 20 m2 southfacing terrace with a view of the mountains. The terrace is equipped with garden furniture and barbeque from May to October.
- 1 bedroom with double bed and bathroom
- WC
- utility room with clothes washer

First floor
- 1 bedroom with 2 beds (100cm and 120cm) with a 15m2 balcony facing south with a view of the river and the mountains
- 1 bedroom with a double bed and 2 bunk beds
- an area of the landing set up as a children's play area
- bathroom
- WC
For babies and toddlers we have available a baby cot, high chair, and various games and toys.


The Orlu National Nature Reserve is home to marmots, isards (chamoix), vultures and capercaillie. There are many walking trails, and you can hike to the mountain lake of En Beys (1970m) where there is a refuge with a caretaker.

In the vicinity other attractive activities are just waiting for you: mountain biking, paragliding, prehistoric sites, cathar castles, mediéval ruins, romanesque churches...

In the winter, you have the choice of 4 ski stations, including one for cross-country skiing, but also an extraordinary landscape for walking and shoeshoeing.

PRICES

400 to 800 euros per week

These prices comprise:
- water, heating fuel, electricity, gas
- sheets
- taxe de séjour
- firewood

Extra services, regardless of the number of people, to be paid for at the time of reservation:
- table napkins and tea towels : 45 euros
- bath and hand towels : 80 euros
- housecleaning : 75 euros

Chèques vacances are accepted

Heat and hot water are provided by an oil-fired boiler

Very well-behaved pets are accepted only by prior request.
