La Larcatine is located in Larcat, a charming little mountain village at 800m elevation in the Ax valleys, just 5 minutes from the village of Les Cabannes which has many shops and services.

It's above all a very sunny village, quiet and peaceful, with a lovely view over the valley and the surrounding mountains where walkers can discover magnficent landscapes in every season.

A trail leading from the village leads to a little chapel erected in the high mountains where you'll discover a breathtaking panorama.

For walkers, it's the ideal place for hikes in the mountains and the forest and as a point of departure for discovering the ski stations of the Ax valleys:

- "Beille" the cross-country ski station where you can also go snowshoeing, 20 minutes away.
- "Ax Bonascre le Saquet" for alpine skiing. La Lacartine is 20 minutes from the cable cares up to the station

There are numerous sites to visit a few kilometres away (Lombrives cave, the Prehistoric Park, the château de Foix) and tax-free shopping in Andorra just 45 minutes away.

LA LARCATINE :

The house was completely renovated with all modern comforts in August 2007. The spot is quiet and sunny. There is parking for a vehicle, a sunny terrae with a view of the mountains and a pleasant, shady area with garden furniture and a barbeque.

Fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, oven, microwave, coffeemaker...)
Salon with a fold-out couch, 2 wicker armchairs, colour TV and fireplace.

First floor

Bathroom with shower, clothes washer and separate WC.
