Situated at 750 m elevation, Aulus is the meeting point of the valleys of the rivers Garbet, Ars and Fouillet, each full of cirques, lakes and waterfalls. Nature lovers will fast their eyes on abundant flora: crocuses, gentians, carnations, blue thistles, etc. Gourmands will feast on wild strawberries, blueberries and raspberries; those knowledgeable about mushrooms will find morilles, girolles and cèpes. |
