  For the past 20 years Josette and Eric have been raising goats on their farm 7 km from Massat, at the end of a winding lane not far from the road leading to the Col de Port. The gîte is situated nearby in a quiet hamlet of 3 houses and surrounded by woods and meadows. Relaxing on the terrace in front of the house, it's easy to feel cut off from the rest of the world. |

On the ground floor is a sitting room with fireplace, TV and pay phone, a kitchen with gas and electric cookers, electric oven, fridge-freezer, clothes washer and dish washer, and a dining area. |

All around the gîte and in the surrounding mountains are numerous walking trails. At Massat there is a horseriding centre, tennis court and fishing in the Arac or at the Etang (lake) de Lers 13 km away, which is also a cross-country ski domaine in the winter.
Two km away in Espies you'll find a small grocery/bakery and in Massat (7 km) a variety of shops and services including a doctor and a pharmacy. |
