Entirely renovated in 2005, the Hostellerie La Rotonde is located on the edge of Saint Girons, the capital of the Couserans region of the Ariège Pyrenees.

The hotel has 15 rooms with TV and ensuite bath and some have air conditioning. There is also an apartment rented by the week, a meeting room for 50 persons. The restaurant specialises in grilling over an open fire (all products are fresh, nothing frozen). All preparations and desserts are produced in our own kitchen. The establishment also has a large terrace.

The Couserans offers inumerable outdoor activities: hiking of course, but also mountain biking, cycle touring, horseriding, hanggliding and paragliding, rock-climbing, canoeing and kayaking, spelunking. All the major tourist sites that Ariège has to offer (prehistoric caves, cathar châteaux are easily accessible via the meandering mountain roads and panoramic cols.
