2 gîtes, sleeping 2 and 6 to 8 |
This former farmstead is located at 800m altitude on the upper slope of the commune of Soulan, whose name in the loca patois means "sunny".
The U-shaped structure has two gîtes, a large one sleeping 6 of about 200 m2 and a smaller one for 2 people (40 m2). The two gîtes are connected by a covered patio. These gîtes can be rented together and are ideal for a family vacationing with friends or other relatives. From these gîtes there are numerous waymarked walking paths alongside meadows and through forests. The gîtes themselves are surrounded by pastureland grazed by cows, and nearby is a little stream where you can fish for fario trout. The col d'Ayens, well known to mushroom hunters, can be reached by car or on foot along well marked paths. The market town of Saint Girons is 20 kms away, and the villages of Seix and Massat are 12 and 15 kms away respectively. |
