The gîte is situated at 320 m elevation in a small, quiet village in the Couserans near the border of the department of Haute Garonne, not far from the thermal spa town of Salies du Salat.

Not far from the gîte flows the Salat river where you can fish or simple stroll along its banks.

Activities nearby or in the region:
- Walks in the forest, in the mountains
- Mountain biking and cycle touring
- Fishing, mushroom gathering in autumn, markets
- Horseriding, rockclimbing, paragliding, golf, casino
- Alpine skiing at Guzet
- Sightseeing: St Lizier, St Gaudens, St Bertrand de Comminges, the cave at Le Mas d'Azil, the Foix castle, the Niaux cave, Montségur, etc.

The 50 m2 gîte is all on ground floor level and was completely renovated in 2007.
It comprises:
- a kitchen and living area with fridge-freezer, gas hob and oven, microwave oven, clothes washer and hook-up for television.
- a bedroom with one double bed
- a bedroom with two single beds
- a bathroom with shower
- Separate WC

Electric heating.

Outside is a covered terrace opening onto a garden.

You also have use of a private parking area.

The gîte is located behind the owners' house and has a separate entrance.
