Nestled in the lush greenery at 1000 m elevation, the little village of Ignaux is perched just above Ax-les-Thermes, the last major town before Andorra and Spain.

The area offers a wide range of activities: excursions, walks, mountain biking, horseriding, as well as exploring the great diversity of wildlife (bears, wolves, isards and raptors).

In winter you'll enjoy alpine skiing at Ax 3 Domaines (5 kms) and Ascou (8 kms), cross-country skiing at the plateau de Beille (35 kms) and the domaine at Chioula (4 kms).

In the surrounding woods you can gather mushrooms and berries, which we will gladly help you to identify and prepare.

At Ax-les-Thermes, you'll take advantage of its sulfur springs, whose beneficial properties were appreciated by the Celts.
