Rivérelens is a traditional farmhouse of 145 m2 surrounded by rolling pastureland in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The narrow winding lane that runs past the property sees only the occasional car and your only neighbors are the two horses and a donkey in the field next door; they belong to the owner of the house, who lives five minutes away.

In the vicinity you can enjoy numerous recreational activities such as walking, horseriding, fishing, tennis, golf, paragliding, canoeing, etc. You can visit many Ariège tourist sites including prehistoric caves, cathar chateaux, romanesque churches, museums... or simple relax in the peace and quiet.

You'll find a very good restaurant in the village of Tourtouse (1 km away) and a bakery and grocery in the village of Fabas (2.5 km). The nearlest village with a variety of shops and services is Sainte Croix Volvestre 7 km away and the nearest town is Saint Girons, 15 km, which has a very colorful Saturday morning market.

 

 

The house comprises:
On the ground floor:
- a separate, fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher...)
- living-dining room with a woodburning stove in the fireplace, tv and dvd player.

On the first floor, 3 bedrooms:
- one with a 140 cm double bed
- one with a 140 cm double bed and a sleigh bed (130 cm)
- one with 2 130 m sleigh beds
- bathroom with shower and clothes washer
- WC

Outside: a courtyard with barbeque and garden furniture
