Boarding kennel for dogs and cats in the Ariège Pyrenees

RATES: 15 € to 17 € per day for dogs and 10 € for cats | www.pensionchienschats.fr

Our canine and feline boarding kennel is located in the countryside at the foot of the chateau de Roquefixade between Foix and Lavelanet.

Completely renovated in the summer of 2009, the 20 individual kennels enjoy a southern exposure and are all tiled and equipped with lighting, heating, and raised sleeping platform. A sheltered courtyard in front allows them plenty of space to move around. For the dogs' comfort in summer a row of large maple trees provides abundant shade. Every dog is taken out twice daily to exercise in a fenced, 2000 m2 park.

All the kennels are cleaned and disinfected twice a day.

We use Royal Canin dogfood, which permits a diet adapted to the race and age of each dog. For those allergic to dry food, a special regime can be given on request.

Our veterinarian can intervene quickly should a problem arise. For the safety of your dog(s), a current CHLPPI vaccination is indispensable.

Our extras: music played in the kennels during the day. Free cleaning of your dog's blankets, rug, etc.
