The gîtes of the commune of Couflens-Salau are ready to receive you for your family holiday high in the Couserans.

Situated at 860m elevation (700m for the 6-person gîte), these two villages are the departure point for numerous mountain walks: the trail to Cougnets, the Anglade cirque, the port de Salau and others where you will be able to discover all the charms of the Pyreneen wildlife and wild flowers. The local festivals (transhumance, the ice route, Pujada, Chinese new year...) will be pleasant diversions.

The 5- and 8-person gîtes are in a large house in Salau while the 6-person gîte is in Couflens. The are all alongside the Salat river and each gîte has a terrace with barbeque and garden furniture.

Living/dining area with kitchenette and staircase leading to two bedrooms.

First floor :
-1 room with a double bed
-1 mezzanine with 2 single beds

-1 room with a double bed
-1 bathroom with bathtub and washbasin
-1 independent WC and a shower
Heated with woodburning stove (wood allotted for each stay) and electric radiator

Ground floor:
Entry hallway for leaving firewood and shoes
Living area with sofa, TV and woodburning stove, fully equipped kitchen area

First floor:
Shower room, separate WC, 2 bedrooms with twin beds and 1 bedroom with a double bed.

Gîte d'étape sleeping 15 in Salau

Ground floor :
- Entry hallway for storing wood and leaving shoes, 1 independent WC
- Large common area with fireplace containing wood stove
- Equipped kitchen separated by a bar

First floor :
- 15 beds (on two levels) and independent WC
- 1 Bathroom with 2 showers and a washbasin
- Heating is by woodburning stove and wood is provided
