![]() Chapeliers is a charming 18th-century guesthouse, the only Bed and Breakfast in the heart of the lively medieval town of Foix, the capital of Ariège. The house sits at the very foot of the castle for which the town is famous, just steps from many small shops and restaurants, as well as the covered market where local farmers sell their produce on Friday mornings.
There are restaurants, cafés, bars, clubs, theatres, cinemas, cyberstations, churches and a swimming pool all within walking distance. Chapeliers is a 10 minute walk from the train station, where there are direct connections to Toulouse and Barcelona. |
| The area is steeped in history and natural beauty, with many walking and high mountain hiking trails nearby.
Accommodation is modern and comfortable. There are two double bedrooms with private bathrooms. Each is accessible independently and they are named according to their views. Although the guest rooms are on the ground floor, there are a set of 6 stone stairs leading down from the garden to the entrance. Smoking is not allowed in the bedrooms, and our three cats do not wish us to accept animals. Prices are per room per night and include continental breakfast for each guest, plus private parking, use of a garden and central heating in cold weather For further details, visit our web site : We also offer a holiday gîte that sleeps 4, "Le Petit Chapeau", in a small village 12 kms from Foix |
