 Charles and Claudine make their home alongside the Bouigane river in the beautiful Bellongue valley, where they have tastefully restored a natural stone house. As soon as you arrive you can sense from many numerous details and small touches the couple's love of nature and flowers. |
| Claudine and Charles have a nursery specialising in old varieties of fruit trees, and also have a large selection of ornamental shrubs and rose bushes.
Their large garden has nearly 300 different varieties of ornamental plants and fruit trees. Delicious juice pressed from the apples is available for sale on site. The two spacious bed and breakfast rooms each have with a private bathroom: There is an extensive library of books, magazines and guides on Pyreneen history, traditions, arts and of course walks which at your disposition during your stay. |

| Acitivities in the immediate vicinity include: - walks in the mountains at mid- and high elevation - horseriding with Mérens and Castillon horses, local breeds well-adapted to steep slopes - mountain biking circuits, bike rental at Castillon - visits to numerous artisans and farms - During the third week of August La Vie en Vert organises a "Journée du Patrimoine artisanale locale" which highlights the local artisans who continue to practice traditional crafts: baker, blacksmith, slate maker, tree grafter, basket weaver, etc... Charles and Claudine do not offer meals, aside from breakfast, as they are busy with the nursery in the summer months but there are several restaurants within a 10 mile radius. |
