Camping Le Montagnou in Trein d'Ustou - Ariège Pyrenees
Le Montagnou is a small, friendly family run campsite in the beautiful Ustou valley, 10 minutes from the small town of Seix. The campsite is situated at the foot of the high peaks that mark the border beween France and Spain. The site is bordered by the river Alet which is ideal for kayaking in the spring and swimming and trout fishing in the summer. The area offers a huge range of mountain outdoor activities: walking, mountain biking, fishing, horseriding and paragiding during the summer. In winter, the family friendly ski resort of Guzet Neige is 15 minutes away, with 40km of pistes for all ages and levels, including 2km of cross country ski trails. There is also a snowshoe circuit for those wanting to try something a little different.
The thermal spa resort of Aulus-les-Bains is 10 km away. The area also has numerous prehistoric caves, Cathar castles and other historical sites to visit.

Le Montagnou offers:
- 50 pitches for tents, caravans or motorhomes, each 100m2, grassy and partially shaded
- 2 mobilehomes that can each accommodate 6 people and are equipped with a microwave/grill, cooking and eating utensils, refrigerator, electric cafetiere, i-pod dock/speakers, terrace, patio furniture, parasol and barbeque.
- 2 large luxury safari tents for rental, each sleeping 6 people, equipped with 1 double bed, 2 single beds and a sofa bed, a kitchen area with gas hob and grill, refrigerator, cafetiere, garden table and chairs and barbeque.
There are 2 sanitary blocks with hot showers (one block is heated in the winter for use all year). Facilities for disabled are also available.
