25 pitches
Open from 15 June to 15 Sept.
Reservation necessary for other periods

Philippe and Brigitte welcome campers on their farm near the little village of Biert in the Massat valley. The 25 shaded pitches on 3 hectars alongside a winding stream offer a peaceful base for exploring the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Surrounded by woods and meadows, the spot is very quiet and a pleasure to return to after a day of walking in the mountains. A large meadow reached by a footbridge over the stream is suitable for groups (tents only).

Depending on how bountiful the fruit harvest has been, you might find apple cider or homemade jam for sale on the farm.

Also available on site:

A large 200 m2 common room with a monumental fireplace, showers and washbasins with hot water, clothes lines, a freezer for your ice packs, pay phone, clothes washer, barbecue, tent hire, caravan hire, play area, petanque ground and ping pong table. At the reception area you can buy soft drinks, wine and beer.

Walking and horseriding trails abound in the surrounding mountains. At the étang de Lers (a high altitude lake 20 minutes away by car) you can fish for trout, go hiking, or watch paragliders take off from the ridges).

The farm is 800 metres from the village of Biert, which has a small bakery/grocery and a restaurant; 3 km down the road in Massat you'll find all shops and services as well as the horseriding centre "Boutou". The Arac River that flows nearby is well-known for its trout.
