 Weekend horseriding trips
These trips are for those with some riding experience or they can be preceded by a rapid and effective initiation by a certified, experienced riding instructor.
After receiving safety tips about mountain horseriding, checking the harness and gear, riders and horses respond to the call of adventure and set out from the riding centre BOUTOU. The first stage takes us along the path of the Cargadou with a magnificent view point over the whole Massat valley. From Licherre, we come to the Liers valley, then have a little trot along the Pountets trail which leads us to the Pont de Fidèle to cross the Saradelle. A final effort and we're in Castelès, near the farm Las Trinquades where we will spend the night.

 After tending to the horses and letting them out to pasture, a quick shower and it's time for an aperitif. Marie-Christine and Jacques, who have been at Las Trinquades for decades, prepare and serve a delicious farm meal.
Thus restored, a night in comfortable chalets leaves you rested and ready to tackle the hills the next day. Roc blanc, Pic de Razels and Carmil are the names of the summits that will stay in your memory, so lovely is the landscape. The exceptional view of the Pyreneen chain, the flocks and herds grazing on the high mountain pastures, the immense fields of wild blueberry bushes will be unforgettable.

On the same principle as the Weekend trips with the possibility of a night camping under the stars, or in a gîte or a combination of the two..

Courses for Adults and Children
These courses can cover any aspect that you wish.
Promenades, treks, harness and cart in the spirit of ethical principles that we have always followed, well before they became fashionable..
An example of a 5-day course lasting from Monday to Friday:
1st day : rst contact with the horse, introduction, evaluation of your level of ability and defining the programme.
2nd day : working in the outdoor or indoor ring, depending on the weather.
3rd day : trick riding and games
4th day : - morning : review of the principal techniques of horse trekking : gear, knots, safety rules, etc.
- afternoon : riding in the mountains with a night camping out
5th day : return to the BOUTOU riding centre
Accomodations : Camping in summer, gîte or group accommodations depending on number of participants
Price for individuals : without accommodations : 130 € per week per person ; with accommodations : starting from 320 € per week per person

The riding centre offers lessons in the major disciplines : dressage, jumping, harness, etc.

Children : 11 € (+ annual membership and FFE licence)
