4 chambres

Madeleine and Jean-Claude Berdé's typical mountain house enjoys a rustic setting in the small, peaceful village of Unac near to Ax-les-Thermes.

Just a few kilometres from Andorra and Spain and the ski stations of the Ax valley as well as the Niaux cave, Unac serves as an ideal base for numerous rambles and excursions. The village boasts one of the most beautiful romanesque churches in France.

The house has been lovingly decorated with the owners' collection of traditional household and farm implements. The small courtyard entryway planted with many flowers and ornamental shrubs reflects the Berdé's cheerful, welcoming spirit. The house has 4 double rooms, each with its own bathroom and air conditioning.

A former hotelier, Jean-Claude has a passion for fine cuisine, offering his guests a different lovingly prepared meal every day. At breakfast you'll savour his homemade apricot bread and croissants.

Everyone takes the evening meal together at a big table, the occasion to make acquantances, and discussions sometimes last late into the evening.

Mr Berdé has a passion for local traditions and antique objects of daily life and has created a little personal Pyreneen museum which he takes great pleasure in showing to his guests.

Madeleine and Jean-Claude await your visit and will do their utmost to make your stay enjoyable and unforgettable.
