The Fermette de Bauch, as its name indicates, is a small isolated mountain farmstead surrounded by greenery, situated at 800 m altitude 20 km from St Girons and 4 km from the village of Aleu. The nearest shops and services are 10 km away but several ambulant merchants (baker, grocer, butcher, etc.) visit the commune during the week.
Nearby activities include walking and mountain biking on the extensive network of paths that pass near the house, fishing in the rivers and lakes, rafting, canoeing and kayaking, horseriding and in the commune of Aleu Panoram'âne offers pack donkey hire.
The ski resort Guzet Neige is about 30 km away and the cross-country ski domain at the Etang de Lers is 20 kms away.

The layout of the house is typical of mountain dwellings of this area : the entryway gives directly onto the main living-kitchen area with a large fireplace, television and table and chairs.
The kitchen corner is equipped with a refrigerator-freezer, oven, hob with both gas and electric burners, dishwasher and a clothes washer-dryer.
On the first floor are 3 bedrooms:
- 2 with double beds (140 cm)
- 1 with a large single bed (120 cm)
- bathroom with shower
- separate WC
There are electric radiators in each room of the house.
Outside, a barbeque is at your disposal.
