Daniel and Florence give you a warm welcome in their charming auberge located in the heart of a typical small Ariège village. St Lary is 25 km from St Girons along the road leading to the Col du Portet d'Aspet heading toward Luchon. This road is often on the route of the Tour de France.The well-appointed rooms are cozy and comfortable. Each has a TV, telephone and its own bathroom with shower and w.c.
Our restaurant offers traditional, regional cuisine prepared with fresh, local produce with menus priced at 18, 22 and 29 euros. Some of our signature dishes are foie gras with hypocras jelly, puff pastry filled with cheese made right in the village, croustades de gésier, filet of local trout and of course a variety of homemade desserts.
You can enjoy dining in either our dining room decorated in warm colours or in fine weather on our flower bedecked terrace overlooking the river.
The restaurant is closed on Mondays except in July and August.

Located 6 km from the Col de Portet d'Aspet, the hotel especially welcomes those courageous cyclists who climb our Pyreneen cols.
We have newly renovated, comfortable rooms that will make you quickly forget the day's exertions (tv, telephone and bathroom in every room.) We can offer free secure bike storage in a locked garage as well as a bicycle pump upon request.
A special half-board formula is available for cyclists during your stay, and for those wishing to get rolling early in the morning we can provide an early breakfast that includes muesli and fruit. The Auberge de l'Isard is a essential stop on the "route des Cols".
