This charming little restaurant at the entrance to the Vicdessos valley (3 km from Tarascon) is just 5 minutes from the celebrated Niaux cave. Mr Cecconi serves traditional regional cuisine with a Canadian accent, having spent 20 years in the land of the maple leaf before moving to Ariège

In the afternoon salads and drinks are served on the terrace or under the veranda -- a pleasant place to bide your time while waiting to take a guided visit to the Niaux cave drawings.

The restaurant's pluses :
- outdoor service on the terrace
- child's menu
- baby high chair
- menu in foreign languages
- vegetarian menu
- late closing
- animals allowed
- parking on site

There are gîtes and bed and breakfasts very nearby -- don't hesitate to ask us about accommodations.
There are numerous activities in the Vicdessos valley.

Member of the Club des Saveurs d'Ariège Pyrénées, the chef offers "menus Saveurs" which he concocts to celebrate the local festivals dedicated to hazelnuts, figs, apples, pumpkins and chestnuts.
