Welcome to Anilac

At 800 m altitude, surrounded by woods and meadows, Anilac is a little hamlet composed of two gîtes and our house. It was in 1981, after years of traveling all over the world, that we discovered Anilac one beautiful September morning. The magestic Mont Valier bathed in sunlight before us, a sea of clouds below and the hamlet practically in ruins… it was love at first sight.

These old stone-built mountain houses and cow barns were restored and transformed with much love, effort and inventiveness to create very comfortable gîtes that combine modernity and tradition. The large flower garden facing the mountains invites rest and contemplation.

Decades after we first set eyes on Anilac we often still rise in the morning and rush to find the camera to immortalise these magic moments. We invite you to come and share our little corner of paradise.
